Piercing FAQ

How Old Do I Have To Be To Get A Piercing?

Our age policy for all piercings can be found on our Piercing Prices page. You can always message us for any clarifications. Our age policy is non-negotiable and we will not make exceptions in any cases.

Do I Need To Bring ID?

Yes, if you look under 25 you must bring valid photographic ID. We cannot accept photographs of your ID. If you are under 16, or under 18 with no form of ID, a parent or legal guardian can sign for you, except in the case of nipple or genital piercings. We cannot accept consent from any other friends or family members except a parent.

Acceptable forms of ID must show your date of birth and your photograph.

Do I Have To Book For A Piercing?

Generally we can accept walk-ins on week days, however we cannot guarantee we will have space, so we advise booking ahead to avoid disappointment. Booked appointments will always take priority over walk-ins so there may be a longer wait.

Do I Have To Book For A Jewellery Change?

You don’t have to book ahead for jewellery changes as we can usually fit you in between appointments, but please be aware if we are particularly busy we may not be able to fit you in. We advise booking ahead for any service to guarantee your slot.

How Do I Book A Piercing?

You can book ahead online via the Booksy app or website to see all our available dates and times. If you can’t see a certain day or time, it means that slot has already been filled or is unavailable.

If you can’t access the online booking service, you can also call the shop or message us.

Can I Book For My Friend?

Of course! You can book multiple piercings online if you’re coming together, or you can book for someone else. You can add a note to your booking to say how many people will be coming as this will helps us prepare our schedules for the day.

Can My Friend Come In With Me?

Unfortunately your friends will not be able to accompany you into the treatment room. This is to keep our workspace as safe and sterile as possible. Under 16s may be accompanied by one parent. For intimate piercings, we have male and female piercers and can offer a staff chaperone if you’d like.

Exceptions can be made if you have additional needs that require someone to accompany you, for example a translator, carer, or for medical requirements.

Can I Get More Than One Piercing At A Time?

We’re happy to perform multiple piercings in one sitting! However, make sure you listen to your body and remember that piercings take energy to heal; don’t push yourself too hard. Our piercers will check in on you throughout the process and you can stop at any time.

We generally limit clients to 3 - 4 piercings in one sitting to ensure you have the best chance at healing them all well. We will not perform cartilage piercings on both ears in the same session; you’ll need a side to sleep on to avoid putting pressure on your healing piercings, which can be very detrimental to the healing process.

We will not pierce your tongue alongside any other piercing, as the limitations on eating will make the healing process much harder for multiple piercings.

I Can’t See The Piercing I Want On Your Price List?

If you don’t see what you’re looking for, drop us a message! Some piercings have different names depending on country, region or even slang so it may be there, just listed differently to what you’d recognise. Our piercing team can perform custom placements and curation to help you achieve your dream.

There are some piercings we won’t perform due to client safety. These include the tongue tip, tongue web and some surface/microdermal placements. You can always message us with any questions or queries.

Please give our shop policies a glance before your appointment.
